CUSTOMTRI PRIVACY POLICY Last Updated: May 5, 2026 This Privacy Policy describes how CustomTRI ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by CustomTRI LLC, an Idaho limited liability company, collects, uses, stores, and protects information from users of customtri.com (the "Site") and our training plan services. By using the Site or purchasing a training plan, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. --- 1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT We collect the following categories of information: Account Information When you create a free account on our Site, we collect your first name, last name, and email address. Your password is encrypted and never stored in plain text. Questionnaire Data To generate your personalized training plan, we collect information you voluntarily provide including your target race distance, race date, experience level by discipline, benchmark paces for swimming, biking, and running, weekly training availability, days you cannot train, training time preferences, open water access, bike type, race goal, and any optional injury or physical limitation notes you choose to share. Payment Information We use Stripe to process all payments. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers. All payment data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with their PCI-DSS compliance standards. We receive a confirmation of payment and the associated transaction ID only. Communications When we email your training plan to you, we retain a record of that delivery including the email address it was sent to and the date of delivery. Technical Information We may automatically collect standard technical information when you visit our Site including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. This information is used for site analytics and security purposes only. --- 2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION We use the information we collect for the following purposes: - To generate your personalized triathlon training plan using AI - To deliver your training plan to you via email - To maintain your account and provide access to your dashboard - To process your payment through Stripe - To respond to customer service inquiries - To improve our services and the accuracy of our AI-generated plans - To comply with legal obligations We do not use your information for advertising purposes. We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not share your information with triathlon coaches, race organizations, or any other third parties except as described in Section 3 below. --- 3. INFORMATION SHARING We share your information only in the following limited circumstances: Service Providers We share necessary data with the following third-party services to operate our business: - Stripe -- payment processing. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy. - Memberstack -- account management and authentication. Member data is governed by Memberstack's Privacy Policy. - Anthropic -- AI plan generation. Your questionnaire data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate your training plan. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by their API usage policies at anthropic.com. - Make.com -- automation platform that routes your data between services. - Google -- email delivery via Gmail for plan delivery. - Dropbox -- temporary file storage for generated plans. - Render -- hosting for our date calculation and plan generation service. Legal Requirements We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, or investigate fraud. Business Transfers If CustomTRI LLC is acquired, merged, or sold, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy. --- 4. DATA RETENTION We retain your account information and questionnaire data for as long as your account remains active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes. Generated training plan files are stored in our Dropbox backup for up to 12 months after generation, after which they are deleted. Payment transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by standard accounting and tax compliance practices. --- 5. DATA SECURITY We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include encrypted password storage, HTTPS encryption for all data transmission, restricted access to member data, and use of PCI-DSS compliant payment processing through Stripe. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data and are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from factors outside our reasonable control. --- 6. YOUR RIGHTS You have the following rights regarding your personal information: Access -- You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by contacting us at the email address below. Correction -- You may request that we correct inaccurate personal data we hold about you. Deletion -- You may request that we delete your account and associated personal data. Note that deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of any purchase. Portability -- You may request a copy of your data in a portable format. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY Our Site and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
